Current Issues

The following issues have been mentioned related to the Waiaka Bridge and Intersection Replacement Project:

How can the flow of traffic on Kawaihae Rd. and Kohala Mountain Rd. be maintained during construction?
How will movement through this intersection be affected by traffic entering/leaving Kawaihae Rd. to the east from/to the eastern entrance to the Lalamilo DHHL project?
How will movement through this intersection be affected by traffic entering/leaving Kawaihae Rd. to the east from/to the road to the transfer station?
How will movement through this intersection be affected by traffic entering/leaving Kawaihae Rd. to the east from/to the proposed Lalamilo connector road?

Communications

If you are aware of other issues, please communicate them to us. We want everyone to be heard.
